Review of Crabbing
In the current quarterly edition of Irish Arts Review, Mic Moroney reviews Crabbing: “Written in free verse, limpid as water, her poems dredge memories of Currabinny in the Cork estuary: funeral day gatherings; or earlier in snowball time, warming her frozen hands on her mother’s belly.”
A book club (in Dublin) needs to source eight copies of Crabbing for their October meeting (only three are available in Hodges Figgis). Pinch me. I must be dreaming.
CuIture night, this Friday 22 Sept, I’ll be reading from Crabbing in the Mill Theatre Studio Space in Dundrum along with other performance artists, writers and poets from the Dun Laoghaire Art Network. My twenty-minute slot begins at 7.50pm. The night opens with an exhibition by DLR artists at 5pm. Free event.
All here - to be published as a book "Yours etc." soon.
